You draw the part directly in the browser with the built-in CAD tool, or upload a finished DXF file. The price is calculated automatically based on material, thickness and cut length as soon as the drawing is ready. The workshop checks the drawing and sends a payment request — you only pay once the order is approved.
The primary format is DXF, which practically all CAD programs (AutoCAD, Fusion 360, FreeCAD, SolidWorks) can export. You can also draw the part entirely in the browser without any separate CAD software — see our CAD software comparison.
The workshop checks every order before sending a payment request. If there's a problem with the drawing — for example a hole too small relative to the material thickness — you'll be notified, and nothing is charged until it's fixed.
The price depends on material, thickness and cut length, and is calculated automatically the moment you draw a part. You see the exact total before ordering — no guessing, no separate quote requests. A one-time start fee is added to each order. All prices include 25.5% VAT.
Currently orderable: structural steel (S235, S355) 1–40mm and Hardox 400 wear-resistant steel 6–20mm. Stainless steel and aluminium are priced but not yet in production — we're expanding the range soon. See the materials page for full details.
Delivery time is confirmed per order during the workshop's review, and you'll see an estimate before paying. Simple orders typically ship quickly after approval.
Yes. In the delivery method menu you can choose free pickup directly from the workshop in Lappajärvi, a standard parcel, or pallet freight for larger orders.
Currently LeikePaja orders are manufactured at NitroCut Oy's workshop in Lappajärvi. NitroCut does laser cutting, welding, and bending, and checks every order before production. Read more about where your part is made.
